The St. Louis arch represents the gateway to the west. For me it represents a deep exhalation. A sigh of relief, as the noose of the American east, loosens its stranglehold.
Location: East St. Louis, Illinois
Frame was purchased at an antique store in Montana and repurposed. The edges were purposely burnt, to give the image a rustic Americana appearance. This is a one and only creation of this piece.
Comes signed, wired, and ready to hang. Affixed to the backboard is a typewritten note with my thoughts and feelings for the day.
